Matriarch Rising
What would your life look like if you stopped overriding yourself?
You've learned how to be capable. You know how to get things done, make the logical decision, take care of the people around you, push through when you're tired, and keep moving even when something inside of you is asking for something different. And in a lot of ways, that way of living has probably worked. You may have built a life you once wanted. You're competent, responsible, and people know they can depend on you.
But somewhere underneath all of that, there's another voice. It's the part of you that knows when something isn't right before you can explain why, that wants more pleasure, creativity, depth, connection, or simply more aliveness in the life you're already living. You don't necessarily want to blow up your life. You just don't want to spend the rest of it going through the motions of a life that looks right but doesn't completely feel like yours.
Matriarch Rising is about learning to listen deeply within, and becoming the woman who trusts what she hears.
Through hypnotherapy, neuroscience, and subconscious work, we'll look at the beliefs and experiences that have shaped the way you see yourself and the world around you, while reconnecting with the parts of feminine intelligence many of us have learned to override: intuition, sensuality, emotional depth, receptivity, creativity, and desire.
The goal isn't to become a different woman. It's to create enough coherence between what you think, what you feel, what your body knows, and the way you're actually living that you begin to feel deeply like yourself again.
What might we work with? You don't need to arrive with a perfectly articulated reason for wanting something to change. You might have something very specific you want to work on, or simply know that the way you're experiencing your life doesn't quite feel like you anymore.
Matriarch Rising gives us the space to work with what's getting in the way, while getting underneath the patterns, beliefs, and experiences shaping how you feel, relate, respond, and move through your life.
FEARS + HOW YOU FEEL
Anxiety, worry, or overthinking
Specific fears or phobias
Sleep or difficulty switching off
Stress or feeling constantly “on”
Performance anxiety or fear of being seen
Emotional reactions that feel bigger than you want them to
A past experience that still affects how you feel now
PATTERNS + RELATIONSHIPS
People-pleasing or fear of disappointing others
Fear of rejection, abandonment, or being misunderstood
Repeating relationship patterns you understand but haven't changed
Difficulty setting boundaries without guilt
Hyper-independence or difficulty receiving support
Perfectionism or pressure to perform
Habits or automatic responses you want to change
SELF + ALIVENESS
Second-guessing yourself or constantly seeking reassurance
Feeling disconnected from your intuition or inner knowing
Knowing what you want but struggling to act on it
Feeling disconnected from sensuality, pleasure, or desire
Feeling flat in a life that looks good on paper
Parts of yourself you've learned to minimize or override
Wanting more creativity, connection, purpose, or aliveness
Feeling like you've lost touch with the person underneath all the roles you play
You can come in wanting to sleep better, stop being afraid of something, change a relationship pattern, or simply feel more like yourself. We start with what's getting in the way and work toward something bigger: greater coherence between who you are, what you know, what you want, and the life you're actually living.
Somewhere along the way, we learned to distrust the feminine.
Many of the qualities traditionally associated with femininity have also been the qualities we've learned to question in ourselves. Intuition can be dismissed as irrational. Sensitivity becomes weakness. Emotion is something we're supposed to control. Sensuality becomes something performed for someone else. Rest has to be earned, receptivity looks passive, and power starts to look a lot like how much we can produce, accomplish, endure, and hold together.
But I think we've misunderstood where some of our greatest intelligence actually lives.
Your ability to sense what isn't being said, to feel deeply, to connect, to create, to receive, to experience pleasure, and to know something before you can fully articulate why you know it are not qualities you need to overcome in order to become powerful. They are different ways of gathering information, experiencing the world, and moving through it.
Matriarch Rising is about reclaiming those parts of yourself as part of the architecture of your power.
Your beliefs become the lens through which you experience your life.
One of the central ideas behind NURA is that we aren't experiencing the world exactly as it is. Our brains are constantly interpreting what's happening through everything we've experienced before, our beliefs, emotional memories, relationships, expectations, and the meaning we've made from them.
Emotion helps tell the brain what matters, and repeated experiences begin creating patterns. Eventually, those patterns become so familiar that we stop experiencing them as beliefs at all. They simply feel like who we are.
Maybe you've learned that you're too much when you're fully expressed, that keeping everyone happy is part of being a good person, that wanting more makes you ungrateful, that rest has to be earned, or that you shouldn't act until you can prove your decision makes logical sense. Maybe you understand exactly where those beliefs came from and still find yourself living inside of them.
That's because insight and change aren't always the same thing.
Through hypnotherapy and subconscious work, we work with those patterns at the level where they were learned, using new experiences to begin changing the lens itself. Experience becomes biology, but new experience can become biology too.
THE NURA METHOD
-
We begin by noticing the patterns already shaping your life: where you're overriding yourself, what repeatedly activates you, what you keep tolerating, where you feel disconnected, and the places where the life you're living no longer quite matches what you know internally.
-
Then we look at what created those patterns. What did your experiences teach you about being loved, being safe, being successful, being desirable, taking up space, receiving, resting, trusting yourself, or wanting more? Your patterns usually make a tremendous amount of sense when you understand the experiences that created them, but understanding them doesn't mean you have to keep living inside of them.
-
Through hypnotherapy and subconscious work, we begin creating new experiences around the beliefs and patterns we've uncovered. Instead of repeatedly trying to think your way out of an automatic response, we give your brain something different to learn from so new responses can actually become available.
The goal isn't to control every emotion. It's to create enough space between the pattern and the response that you get to choose what happens next.
-
Then we begin bringing what you know internally into the way you're actually living. What do you value? What do you desire? What does your body tell you? What kind of relationships, work, creativity, intimacy, or life actually feel coherent with the woman you are now?
You will develop the kind of self-trust that allows you to hear yourself clearly and trust that you'll know how to respond.
Matriarch Rising is for the woman who is ready to stop overriding herself and start building a life that feels coherent with who she actually is.
This is the deeper work of subconscious belief, intuition, sensuality, emotional intelligence, self-trust, and feminine power, in the pursuit of becoming more fully yourself.
Live from your power.
Inside Matriarch Rising
-
Our sessions are personalized around what's actually happening in your life the patterns, desires, relationships, identity shifts, questions, or places where you feel a disconnect between what you know and how you're living.
-
You'll have guided hypnosis experiences to continue the work between sessions, with themes around intuition, self-trust, sensuality, emotional intelligence, receiving, creativity, boundaries, desire, and becoming.
-
When appropriate, you'll receive recordings created around the specific patterns and beliefs we're working with together.
Some women listen before appointments, while lying in bed, after difficult conversations, during the two-week wait, or in moments when fear begins to feel louder than trust.
These recordings become supportive anchors, helping the body soften, the mind settle, and the deeper work continue between sessions.
-
Because the real evidence that something is changing isn't what happens while you're sitting with me. It's what you begin noticing in your choices, relationships, reactions, and everyday life afterward.
-
You'll also understand what's happening underneath the experience: how emotion, belief, subconscious patterning, and neuroplasticity shape the lens through which you experience your life.
You don't have to burn your life down to become more alive inside of it.
Sometimes reconnecting with yourself leads to a massive overhaul of your life, but often it doesn't. You might realize you want a different relationship with your work, more intimacy in your marriage, stronger boundaries, more creativity, more pleasure, more time to yourself, a different way of mothering, or simply permission to want something without immediately explaining why you shouldn't.
I'm not here to decide what your life should look like. In fact, that would defeat the entire point of the work.
I'm interested in helping you get underneath enough of the conditioning, expectation, and old subconscious patterning that you can hear what you actually want your life to look like. Then we can work with whatever is standing between knowing that and living it.
The goal isn't to create my version of an aligned woman. It's to become deeply aligned with yourself.
Your child doesn't create every pattern they activate.
Mother Brain gives us a place to notice those reactions without judging them, understand what they're connected to, and work with the subconscious patterns underneath them so you have more choice in how you respond.
Not so you become a perfectly regulated mother who never loses her patience.
So that when something gets activated, you aren't automatically run by it.
Your intuition isn't anyone can give you.
I think one of the most interesting things women learn to do is talk themselves out of what they already know. You feel something in your body and immediately ask whether it's reasonable. You know what you want and start building the case for why you shouldn't want it. Something feels wrong, but you can't prove it yet, so you override the signal and keep going.
Reconnecting with intuition doesn't mean blindly following every feeling or treating every impulse as truth. Part of this work is actually learning to distinguish between intuition, fear, conditioning, and the old subconscious patterns that can sometimes sound remarkably similar.
The goal isn't for me to become another person you look to for answers. It's to help you understand yourself well enough that you can take in information, listen to other perspectives, and still recognize your own signal underneath all of it.
You don't need someone else to give you your inner knowing. You need to stop overriding it.
Sensuality is bigger than sex.
When I talk about sensuality, I'm talking about your capacity to experience your life through your body, pleasure, touch, taste, movement, beauty, desire, play, creativity, and the ability to notice what feels alive to you and what doesn't.
For many women, that relationship becomes quieter underneath responsibility. We become incredibly good at functioning, producing, caring for other people, and moving through everything that needs to happen in a day, while becoming increasingly disconnected from the experience of actually being inside our own lives.
Reconnecting with sensuality isn't frivolous, and it isn't simply about sex. It's one of the ways we reconnect with desire, and desire gives us information. It tells us what we want to move toward, what we want more of, what no longer feels right, and sometimes what is asking to be created next.
You weren't meant to simply manage your life. You're allowed to experience it.
Emotional intelligence is part of your power.
Feeling deeply isn't the same thing as being controlled by your emotions. Emotion is information. It tells us what matters, what feels threatened, what we're longing for, what needs attention, and where something happening now may be touching an experience that came before it.
The goal isn't to become less emotional or to learn how to perfectly regulate yourself out of every uncomfortable feeling. It's to become fluent enough in your own emotional world that you can understand what you're feeling, recognize when an old pattern has been activated, and choose what you want to do with that information.
When you can feel something without immediately reacting to it, suppressing it, apologizing for it, or making it someone else's responsibility, emotion becomes an incredibly useful source of information.
Your sensitivity isn't something you need to overcome. Learning how to understand it is part of learning how to use it.
This isn't about becoming more delicate.
There isn't one right way to be a woman, and I'm not interested in giving you another identity to perform. This isn't about telling you to become softer, asking you to fit into traditional gender roles, or replacing one set of expectations about womanhood with another.
It's about reclaiming access to capacities many women have learned to distrust or suppress: intuition, emotional depth, sensuality, receptivity, creativity, while keeping every bit of your ambition, intellect, strength, discernment, and agency.
I don't think feminine power asks us to become less powerful.
I think it asks us to expand our understanding of what power is.
Your Questions, Answered
-
No. Motherhood can be a profound initiation into this work, but Matriarch Rising isn't a motherhood program. It's for women who want to understand the patterns shaping how they experience themselves and their lives, reconnect with their own intuition and desire, and create greater coherence between what they know internally and how they're actually living.
You may come into this work after Fertility in Flow, Powerful Pregnancy, or Mother Brain, or you may have no motherhood thread at all. There isn't a prerequisite or a particular life stage you need to be in.
-
It can include whatever meaning or spirituality already belongs to you, but Matriarch Rising isn't built around a particular spiritual belief system.
My background is in biomedical engineering, neuroscience, qEEG, and hypnotherapy, so I'm deeply interested in what happens when we look at things like intuition, emotion, belief, and embodied experience without automatically separating them from biology.
You don't need to believe in manifestation, energy work, or any particular spiritual framework to do this work. You also don't need to abandon those beliefs if they're meaningful to you.
-
You don't need to.
You may know there's a specific pattern you want to change, but you may simply have the feeling that something in your life doesn't quite fit anymore. Maybe you're successful on paper but disconnected from yourself. Maybe you're questioning what you want next. Maybe you've spent so much time meeting everyone else's needs that you aren't sure what you want anymore.
Part of the work is learning to hear what's underneath that feeling instead of immediately trying to solve it.
-
Therapy and Matriarch Rising can overlap in the kinds of experiences or patterns you may explore, but Matriarch Rising isn't psychotherapy or a replacement for mental health treatment.
Our focus is on identifying the beliefs and subconscious patterns shaping how you're experiencing your life now, understanding how those patterns were learned, and using hypnotherapy and new experiences to begin changing them. We're also intentionally exploring self-trust, intuition, sensuality, emotional intelligence, desire, and the life you're creating from here.
If you're navigating a mental health condition that needs clinical treatment, this work can exist alongside appropriate care rather than replacing it.
-
Sometimes you can. But most of us have also had the experience of knowing exactly why we do something and continuing to do it anyway.
That's because many of the patterns shaping our reactions have become automatic. You may consciously know that you don't need everyone to approve of you, for example, while your body still reacts to someone's disappointment as though you've done something wrong.
Hypnosis gives us a way to work experientially with those learned associations rather than only talking about them. You're awake and aware throughout the process. We're using focused attention, imagery, and subconscious work to give your brain new experiences to learn from.
Understanding the pattern is valuable. Changing your experience of it is where something new becomes possible.
-
Your experiences don't only become memories. Your brain is constantly learning from what happens to you, especially experiences carrying strong emotion. Over time, repeated experiences help shape the beliefs, expectations, associations, and automatic responses through which you interpret what happens next.
That's the foundation of this work. If experience helped create a pattern, new experience can help change it.
Hypnotherapy allows us to work intentionally with that process so you're not simply trying to think differently while continuing to experience the world through the same old lens.
-
That's actually part of the work.
Reconnecting with intuition doesn't mean treating every feeling as truth. Fear can feel like knowing. Conditioning can feel like knowing. An old subconscious pattern can feel incredibly convincing because your brain has rehearsed it for years.
We get curious about the difference. What does fear feel like in you? What happens when an old pattern gets activated? What does your quieter internal signal feel like when you're not trying to defend it or explain it?
The goal isn't for me to tell you which voice is your intuition. It's for you to become familiar enough with yourself that you can tell the difference.
-
Intuition doesn't mean ignoring information and doing whatever feels good in the moment. It's the ability to hear your own internal signal underneath all of the outside noise.
Motherhood gives you so much outside noise. Experts, social media, grandparents, parenting books, teachers, doctors, other moms, everyone has an opinion.
The goal isn't to stop listening to other people. It's to be able to take in information, consider it, and still hear yourself clearly enough to decide what actually fits you, your child, and your family.
-
No. I'm not here to decide what your life should look like.
Sometimes this work does reveal that something needs to change. Other times, the external life stays largely the same while your relationship to it changes dramatically. You may want more creativity, stronger boundaries, more intimacy, different priorities, more pleasure, or simply more room for yourself inside the life you've already built.
The point isn't disruption for the sake of transformation. It's creating enough clarity that your choices actually belong to you.
-
Sensuality is part of the larger Matriarch Rising philosophy, but it doesn't mean every session is going to be about sex.
I use sensuality in its broader meaning: your capacity to experience your life through your senses and your body, to recognize pleasure and desire, and to notice what feels alive or constricting to you. For one woman, that may connect strongly to sexuality. For another, it may show up through creativity, movement, play, food, nature, style, relationships, or simply learning to inhabit her body again.
We follow what's relevant to you rather than forcing every woman through the same version of femininity.
-
A Deep Dive is best when you have something specific you want to work on, one fear, belief, recurring reaction, decision, or patter, and want a focused hypnotherapy session around it.
Matriarch Rising is for the deeper work. We're looking at the larger constellation of beliefs, identity, relationships, intuition, emotional patterns, sensuality, desire, and the way you're actually building your life. It gives us enough time to notice what changes as you begin responding differently and continue working with what emerges.
If you're thinking, There's this one thing I want to change, start with a Deep Dive.
If you're thinking, I want to know myself differently and see what changes from there, Matriarch Rising is probably the better fit.
-
That's completely fine. You don't need to believe something magical is going to happen for hypnosis to be useful.
Hypnosis is a state of focused attention, and you're aware and in control throughout the experience. You can hear me, think, speak, disagree, move, or stop at any point. I'm not putting beliefs into your mind or deciding what should be true for you.
In fact, that would be completely at odds with this work. The entire point of Matriarch Rising is to strengthen your relationship with your own inner authority, not hand it over to me.
Who is Matriarch Rising for?
Matriarch Rising isn't tied to a particular stage of motherhood, or to motherhood at all. You may come here after Fertility in Flow, Powerful Pregnancy, or Mother Brain because you want to keep going deeper, or this may be the first NURA offering that immediately feels like you.
What connects the women in this work isn't a particular life stage. It's the feeling that something is shifting internally and that the way they've been living no longer fully reflects the woman they're becoming.
You don't need to know exactly what needs to change before you begin. Sometimes that's the work: getting quiet enough to hear what's been trying to get your attention.
